It is well situated for exploring all of South Devon, with its beaches and coast, and is within striking distance for a day trip to the Eden Project. The hotel underwent a considerable building project in 2005 to 2006 to create a new restaurant and function suite and improvements to all of the public areas this helped to increase its percentage with the AA to 85% making it one of the top 3 star hotels in Devon and the South West. Bedrooms Our rooms are everything you would expect from a 3 star country house hotel. Every bedroom is individual, each one with an en-suite bathroom and 3-star facilities. All our rooms offer a spectacular panoramic view of the outstanding moorland scenery, which changes with every passing season. All of our rooms are non-smoking. The self-contained leisure complex is well equipped with 12 metre indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa pool and gymnasium. It is our aim to provide a friendly atmosphere in which you may relax and take your exercise. Conferences Facilities The hotel is well suited to smaller meetings and team building sessions. Its peaceful surroundings aid concentration and allow delegates to relax and focus on the job in hand. The extensive grounds and proximity to open moorland and tors make outdoor activities easy to organise. We have two large meeting rooms that will accommodate up to 100 delegates comfortably and several smaller meeting rooms for between 2 and 25 delegates plus several break-out rooms for smaller group sessions. We also pride ourselves on not cutting the service to our conference delegates and therefore food is of a two rosette standard and delegates staying overnight get to choose from our daily choice menu on offer to all other residents. Weddings and Parties The Ilsington Country House Hotel with its superb facilities offers the possibility for almost all function needs from an intimate dinner party to a wedding. The quality of surroundings, service and food will not disappoint. Arrival and Departure The check-out time is 11am on the day of departure and a charge may be made for any time over this; however we are always happy to store bags for you should you wish to stay longer. We will do our best to accommodate guests who arrive early, but we are unable to guarantee that your room will be available before 3pm on the day of arrival. Deposit/Cancellations Deposits sent with your letter of confirmation will be credited to your account on arrival. Cancellations of confirmed bookings received by the hotel up to 4 weeks prior to arrival will not be subject to a cancellation charge. Between 15 to 28 days in advance - 50% of total anticipated charges, between 7 to 14 days - 75% of anticipated charges, less than 7 days - 100% of anticipated charges. Any amount received for accommodation re-let on your behalf will be credited. Cancellation insurance is available and a proposal form will be sent to you on request. How to get to Ilsington Ilsington is 4 miles from the A38, which is a continuation of the M5. Shortly after Exeter the road divides, take the right hand fork in the direction of Plymouth and after about 12 miles take the exit indicating Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey and Morehampstead. Take the third turning off the roundabout towards Liverton and Ilsington, then turn first right to Liverton and Ilsington.
