We are situated on the Somerset/ Dorset county boundary ideal for business or leisure within easy reach of the picturesque Devon and Dorset Jurassic coasts, and have many National Trust properties and gardens nearby, including Barrington Court, Tintinhull, and Montacute.

There are also many privately owned gardens in the locality, including East Lambrook Manor, Forde Abbey and Lower Severalls all of which are included in the Classic Gardens of South Somerset.

This is a very pleasant part of the country, and an ideal centre for a wide variety of activities. The coast at Bridport or Lyme Regis is only half an hour by car, as are numerous places of interest, such as The Fleet Air Arm Museum, the Wildlife Park at Cricket St Thomas and Haynes Motor Museum.

There are many circular walks locally, and for the more adventurous, the Parrett, Brit Valley and Liberty Trails. Pilsdon Pen, the highest point in Dorset is only a few miles away, and a climb to the top is rewarded with spectacular views over the Marshwood Vale to the sea.

A wide variety of sporting pursuits can be found in the area, including golf, fishing, swimming and horse riding.

Crewkerne is a small Georgian market town with plenty of history (which can be discovered in the recently opened Heritage Centre) and is well worth exploring, with many interesting buildings including the splendid 15th century Parish Church.
