Hillgrove Farm

Hillgrove Farm is situated on the Cotswold Borders. A 300 acre, mainly arable working farm with cattle, free range poultry, and our two dogs. The farm overlooks the banks of the meandering River Windrush providing all rooms with a beautiful view, Deer, foxes, badgers and other wildlife are occasionally seen in the meadows. You may relax in the sunroom or garden. For the more energetic there are walks through the valley to the historic ruins of Minster Lovell Hall and the 14th Century church and picturesque village.

The area offers a wide selection of good country inns and restaurants and we are very willing to advise visitors about local tourist attractions. A cooked English breakfast is served with a generous selection of cereals and home made preserves. You may be entertained by the birds during breakfast, occasionally seeing great spotted woodpeckers and many varieties of tits and finches. Children of all ages are welcome and a cot and high chair are available. The farm is ideally positioned for driving to Oxford and is close to Burford (The Gateway to the Cotswolds) and many famous villages i.e. Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, the Slaughters, The Swells, Chipping Campden and Broadway. Other local features include Blenheim Palace,Cogges Farm Museum and the Cotswold Wildlife Park. In addition within a 90 minutes drive are Stratford upon Avon, Warwick Castle, Cheltenham, Bath, Avebury, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Windsor Castle Legoland and Heathrow Airport. We offer comfortable accommodation in a rural setting and look forward to welcoming you to our farm.
