| Cross-in-Hand, reputed to be a Meeting place for the Crusaders, is a small Wealden village, in the heart of East Sussex, within close reach of the market town of Heathfield, where the Cuckoo walking and cycling trail begins. It is about 40 minutes by road from Gatwick Airport and Glyndebourne Opera is within 20 minutes by car. | High Brow is a modern well equipped property, in a quiet location within a lovely three quarter acre garden including a large sun terrace and wildlife pond. There is an Inn in the Village (5 mins walk) providing an extensive menu and many other excellent pubs with good food are within easy reach by car. There are numerous local walks and two golf courses open to the public within 10 minutes drive with East Sussex National Golf Course only 10 minutes distance. |
| THE ROOMS (all non smoking) Either twin en-suite or double with private bathroom. Facilities include bath and shower, shaver points (with bidet in en-suite) and w.c. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided as are hairdryers, bath, face and hand towels. Colour TV and radio/alarm clocks are in each bedroom with central heating as required. A full English breakfast or Continental is provided in our dining room overlooking the garden or on the sun terrace if the weather permits. |
| Cross-in-Hand is close to Heathfield on the A265 and about 15 miles south of Tunbridge Wells on the A267.
