Dinner is served every evening in the conservatory restaurant and in the dining room. Locally caught fish is one of our specialities and a favourite with guests. Our menu also includes delicious vegetarian dishes.

Charmouth is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with a safe sand and shingle beach that stretches towards Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast. The hotel makes an ideal base for walking and fossil hunting. For lovers of gardens, Forde Abbey, Mapperton and Abbotsbury are all within easy reach.

For shoppers, Lyme Regis and the Cobb, elegant Sidmouth and Honiton's many antique shops are also close at hand.

The hotel is a very short walk from the fossil rich beaches and cliffs (300 metres) and equally close to the village. Parking is easy in the hotel's spacious car park. Your pets are very welcome but please let us know in advance. We ask that pets are not left unattended or brought onto the public rooms.
For the comfort of all our guests, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the hotel.

To secure your reservation a non-refundable deposit of £30.00 per person is required by cheque or debit/credit card.

Children aged 2-1 occupying child's bed in parent's room £20.00 per night Bed and Breakfast.Dinners charged as taken.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome by advance reservation at a charge of £10.00 per stay. Dogs must not be left unattended in the bedroom and are not allowed in the public rooms.

Residents guests are welcome in the restuarnat by reservation. Please note if you book on a bed and breakfast basis we cannot guarantee a table will be available for dinner unless it is reserved in advance.

We would draw attention to the fact the Hoteliers have right in law to clam for resultant loss in the event of reservations being cancelled. We recommend that guest take out holiday insurance.

Our philosophy is that top class food is an essential part of the holiday experience - each meal to be enjoyed and lingered over. All our dishes are cooked freshly to order using whatever fresh local produce, especially fish from the bay.Vegetarian options are always available and special dietary requirements can usually be accommodated. Our menu changes daily. All main courses are served with a selection of fresh produce potatoes and vegetables.

Ardennes Pate served with Dorset Chutney, salad garnish and warm toast
Rolls of Smoked Salmon in a Honey and Mustard and Dill Sauce served with a salad garnish and brown bread and butter

Duo of Deep fried Camembert and Brie served on a bed of green leaves with a tangy redcurrant and cranberry sauce.
