| Places of Interest Discover Wirksworth, an award-winning town. Visit the Heritage Centre and find out why this little Derbyshire town is so special. Peak Cavern, Castleton, home to remains of 400-year-old village and rope walks. The National Tram Museum in the historic village Crich. Chatsworth House, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, with its animal farm and beautiful gardens. Haddon Hall in Bakewell, ancestral home of The Duke of Rutland, it has been in his family for over 800 years. Carsington Water. Just a few minutes from Henmore Grange, offers an exhibition centre, shops and a restaurant. Also there are water sports with canoes and sailboats for hire, cycle hire and many guided walks.
