Hartlip Place is a fine old house, built to face south into its grounds and away from the lane to create an atmosphere of peace and seclusion. It is splendidly proportioned and filled with lovely pictures and antiques.

Both bedrooms have private bathrooms. Comfortable and traditionally furnished, it boasts delightful views over the garden.

Guests have use of the drawing room and elegant dining room. The Yerburghs and Ratcliffes are used to entertaining on a grand scale and dinner is of the highest standard, with the family silver and best porcelain much in evidence.

Hartlip Place has an authentic feel and provides an oasis of comfort in an otherwise poorly served area. Guests will enjoy the feeling that they are in a real home - and will have the opportunity to meet the family pets, (a Spinone, 3 corgis and two cats), as well as the free-range poultry and two peacocks! Closed over Christmas.
