Lovely 16th century farmhouse with stacks of character and warmth, surrounded by beautiful acres.

William the Conqueror discovered Withleigh and recorded the manor of Great Bradley in his Domesday Book. It is now our family home and still retains its original oak screens, cruck beams, and inglenook fireplace.

If you are looking for peace, good country food, and a friendly welcome, you will find them here.

The house is comfortable and tastefully furnished. The guests bedrooms have their own individual character with washbasins, central heating and tea trays. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with scented soap and large fluffy towels.

The guests lounge overlooks the pretty garden and the hills beyond. There are books to read as well as local information and television.

Begin your day with a delicious West Country breakfast of local bacon and our own free range eggs, plus all the little extras - or something lighter if you wish. There is plenty of choice.

From the snowdrops in the early spring to the golden trees of autumn this is a special place where wildlife is encouraged and buzzards and swallows, to name but a few, feel at home. Visitors are welcome to enjoy all of this for themselves.

We are 3 miles west of the small town of Tiverton in an area of natural beauty. Dartmoor and Exmoor, and the National Trust properties of Killerton House and Knightshayes Court are a few miles away. There are friendly local pubs and restaurants serving excellent quality food to round off your day.

The beds are comfortable, the scenery superb and the breakfasts delicious! We are between Exmoor and Dartmoor in beautiful, unspoilt Devonshire heartland, with leafy lanes and gentle hills.

There are gardens, lovely walks, and friendly village pubs.
