North Cornwall the Heritage Coast Located on the outskirts of Rock, a ferry ride from the fishing village of Padstow, Gleneglos has easy access to a wide range of holiday activities.
There are many safe sandy beaches in the area and for walker's local footpaths to such places as St Enodocs Church and Churchyard, resting place of Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman who loved the region. Nearby lies the south West Coast Path linking glorious bays and pretty fishing harbours.
Active sports are well represented fishing, sailing, water skiing wind surfing at Rock, surfing and tennis at Polzeath, golf at two adjacent first rate courses, the formidable St Enodocs and the Roserrow.

How to find us
From the M5 junction 31 take the A30 towards Bodmin via Plymouth and Liskeard. From Bodmin centre, the A389 towards Wadebridge, then B3314 towards St Minver and Rock. Following the signs for Pityme and Rock, in the Village Centre turn right onto Trewint Lane Opposite the Texaco petrol garage. Gleneglos is 200 yards on the right hand side. |
