The Gables has 3 en suite rooms on the ground floor.All rooms have colour TV, radio alarms, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers and local information packs.
For your added comfort and safety The Gables is completely non-smoking and all bedrooms have smoke detectors fitted.
  Breakfast is served from 7.00am to 8.30am. All eggs are free range, and all meat products are grilled. A platter of fresh fruit is served with organic natural yoghurt (when available soft fruit is from our garden allotment) - toast and croissants are available for the lighter breakfast. Wherever possible products are sourced locally.
We have private off-road parking for up to six cars. |

From the North : Exit the A1(M) junction 61. Follow the signs for Spennymoor for approximately 5 miles. Turn onto the A688 towards Bishop Auckland and after several roundabouts turn right towards Middlestone Moor, and right again approximately two hundred yards after the village sign into South View. The Gables is a large cream house about 3/4 mile on the right hand side.
From the South : Exit the A1(M) at Junction 59. Follow the A167 for approximately 9 miles to Spennymoor. Turn left onto the A688 towards Bishop Auckland and after several roundabouts you will see the sign for Middlestone Moor to the right. Turn right approximately two hundred yards after the village sign into South View. The Gables is a large cream house 3/4 mile on the right hand side.
From the West (A66) : At Bowes take the A67 to Barnard Castle - then take the A688 to Bishop Auckland. Stay on the A688 towards Durham. At a large roundabout turn left to Middlestone Moor. Turn right approximately two hundred yards after the village sign into South View and the Gables is a large cream house 3/4 mile on the right hand side. |
