Burntisland is a small coastal town situated on the river Forth on the east coast of Scotland. Our beautiful capital city of Edinburgh is only 40 minutes drive or 30 minutes by train.
The picturesque East Neuk villages of Pittenweem with, its beautiful harbour and coastal path, Lower Largo, the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk ("Robinson Crusoe"), and the quaint fishing villages of Crail, Anstruther and Elie are all nearby.

There are numerous golf courses in the area. St Andrews is only 30 minutes drive and Gleneagles about 1 hour.
Castles, country houses, abbeys, palaces, museums and many more attractions are all within easy reach.
Burntisland itself, has a golf course, bowling green, swimming and leisure complex and a small beach.
If you choose to stay with us at Fairview you will receive a very warm Scottish welcome.
