| Welcome to the Eyre Guest House. Built in the 1850's the Eyre is a Grade B listed Georgian town house situated in the centre of Edinburgh within the historic New Town area of the City. Only half a mile from Princes Street and within easy walking distance of the main train and bus station's the Eyre is ideally located to explore Edinburgh's many attraction's. The Eyre Guest House operates alongside it's sister guest house The Ardenlee located two door's down at No 9 Eyre Place. Also available is the Apartment. |
| About Us We offer a high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Arranged over three floor's the Eyre has 12 en-suite bedroom's and a resident's lounge which is available for use during the day and early evening. Breakfast is taken in our sister guesthouse The Ardenlee next door at No. 9 Eyre Place. Located within the historic New Town area of the city we are well placed for visitor's to enjoy Edinburgh's many attraction's and lively nightlife. |

| Bedrooms The Eyre has 12 en-suite bedroom's all with shower, WC and wash hand basin. All of our room's have TV/DVD players (a DVD library is available in the resident's lounge), tea and coffee facilities and hairdryers. Ironing facilities are available on request. With large family, family, triple, twin, double and single room's available we can cater for a wide range of accommodation requests. |

| Breakfast A fully cooked breakfast is served daily from the dining room of our sister guest house The Ardenlee which is just next to the Eyre at No 9 Eyre Place. Choose from smoked bacon, sausage, scrambled, fried or poached eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, tomato, or have the vegetarian option. A range of cereals, yoghurt and fruit juices are also available. |

| Lounge A resident's lounge is available to all guest's during the day and early evening. With a small library of book's and DVD's, tea and coffee facilities and daily paper's the lounge provides guest's with a larger space to unwind after a hard day's sight seeing. |

| Rates Our prices vary depending on time of year and day's of the week, and are on a per room per night basis including breakfast and taxes. An indication of our rates are outlined below: NOV - MARCH : Single £30 - £40, Double / Twin £55 - £65, Family £70 - £90 (excluding Christmas, New Year & rugby international's) APRIL / MAY / JUNE / OCT : Single £35 - £45, Double / Twin £60 - £70, Family £75 - £120 JULY - SEPTEMBER : Single £40 - £50, Double / Twin £70 - £90, Family £75 - £140 (including Christmas, New Year & rugby international's) |

| Apartment Situated in the centre of the historic New Town of Edinburgh and only 5 mins walk from Princes Street our self catering apartment, located at 3 Eyre Place, offers a high level of accommodation in an ideal location for your stay.A beautiful ground floor fully furnished Georgian flat, the Eyre Place apartment comprises of a large lounge with TV and dining area, two double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and bath. All linen and towels are provided. Prices are from £80 - £150 per night depending on season. |
| Location Situated in the very centre of Edinburgh in the historic New Town the Eyre is within easy walking distance of most of Edinburgh's main attractions. We are only ½ mile from Princes Street. And the main train station (Waverley Station) and St Andrew's bus station are less than a 15 minute walk away. |

| Directions From Waverley Station Turn left along Princes St and then second right onto Hanover Street. Follow Hanover Street up over George Street and down the hill (Hanover Street becomes Dundas Street). Eyre Place is on your right at the bottom of the hill by the traffic lights. Alternatively a taxi will cost around £4.00 or you can catch a 23 or 27 bus from Hanover Street to the bottom of Dundas Street. From Edinburgh Airport A Taxi from the airport will cost £15/£16 pounds direct to the Eyre. Alternatively take the airport bus to the main bus station in St Andrews square. See below for details from St Andrew's Square. From St Andrews Bus Station Turn left along George Street and then first right down Hanover Street. Continue down the hill (Hanover Street becomes Dundas Street), Eyre Place is at the bottom of the hill on your right by the traffic lights.Alternatively a taxi will cost around £4.00 or you can catch a 23 or 27 bus from Hanover Street to the bottom of Dundas Street. |
