Enjoy Medieval banquets, castles and mountains when you stay at Eyarth Station, an old railway station which offers a unique experience to the traveller; owned and run by Jen and Bert Spencer, who have tastefully converted it into an elegant country house offering comfortable accommodation where all guests are made to feel relaxed and at ease in an area that is renowned for its natural beauty.
We are set in secluded gardens with magnificent views of the hills surrounding the lovely Vale of Clwyd. |

Eyarth Station is located one and a half miles from the mediaeval town of Ruthin, famous for its castle where mediaeval banquets are held throughout the year. Ruthin is a picturesque town some 700 years old and boasts many mediaeval half timbered buildings, a craft centre and is home to two Welsh choirs.

Eyarth Station is a fine old example of railway history. The last train to run along the tracks at Eyarth was in 1964 when the line was closed. Since then the Station has been sympathetically restored retaining such features such as its ticket office and platform. Today a warm and friendly atmposhere prevails at Eyarth Station with its beamed ceilings, antique furniture and cosy log fire in the sitting room. |

| Eyarth Station has six bedrooms with a choice of family, double or twin rooms, all of which have their own private en-suite facilities. All are tastefully furnished and have tea and coffee making facilities and fine country views. There are also ground floor bedrooms available. |

| After a days walking or touring our lovely countryside, what better than to be invited to relax with some good home cooking (special diets are also catered for) and a glass of our carefully selected wines and spirits from the bar, or simply read or watch television in the comfortable lounge. |

| Guests are welcome to use the private sun-terrace to the rear and the heated swimming pool whenever the weather permits. A choice of breakfast and country suppers are served in the dining room overlooking the magnificent views to the back of the house. |

Whilst this area is renowned for its abundance of wildlife and scenic walks, there are also several historic houses, beautiful gardens and lake trips to make nearby. We can also arrange riding, fishing, shooting, golf or mini safari tours. We are centrally located for touring the Roman city of Chester, Snowdonia, Llangollen, Bala, all of the North Wales.
Eyarth Station has been a Country Guest House for many years during which time we have enjoyed the company of many nationalities and have received the most heart warming thanks with many return visits. We take pride in our home and the care of our guests and we are sure you will enjoy your stay in our converted railway station. |
