Eildon is a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse situated 7km East of Edinburgh city centre.
All guest rooms are traditionally furnished with antique furniture and original paintings. They have tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer and central heating.
Eildon has been consistanly awarded the Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold Award since 2003.
A two minute stroll brings you to the local sports centre and swimming pool. There are superb riverside and beach walks and cycles close by for the more energetic.
Eildon is also well situated for drives to the superb beaches and countryside of East Lothian and the Historic houses and Abbeys of the Border country.
 We are conveniently located for frequent buses to Edinburgh (journey 25 minutes). There is easy access to the Edinburgh city bypass, the Airport and major roads North, South, East and West.

Directions
Approaching via the A720 (Edinburgh City Bypass), exit (Old Craighall Services) and follow the signs for Musselburgh. Continue to the 'T' junction. Turn right along the river to the second set of traffic lights. At lights you will see a Church on your right. Follow signs for Inveresk Lodge Gardens. Turn right up the side road (Dalrimple Loan) continue up this road following the bend to the left. Newbigging is the first on the right. Eildon is a red sandstone house 100 yards on right.
From the A1, follow the signs for Musselburgh. There are two roundabouts. The first is signposted 'Musselburgh', at the second turn left following Pinkie Road for about 1 mile, turn left after Grandisons garage. Eildon is 100 yards on the right.
From the A68 Musselburgh is signposted about 1 mile past Pathead village - (A6124). Continue on A6124 until reaching the roundabout where you go straight across. This brings you to Inveresk village. Go through the village following the bend to the right. Eildon is halfway down the hill.
By bus from St. Andrews Square, Edinburgh. Buses nos 26 + 44 will bring you to the lower part of Newbigging. Walk up to Grandisons garage turn right then left at The Horseshoe pub. Eildon is red sandstone house 100 yards on the right.
