Our gorgeous Granite Barn is tucked just below the skyline, above the peaceful village of Perranuthnoe. The stunning views over Mounts Bay with St Michael's Mount make this a very special place to stay. We offer three luxuriously, romantic bedrooms. Our delightful pink room has a hand carved, four poster bed, in the main farmhouse. Whilst the elegant blue, and romantic Apricot rooms, have French doors on to private terraces and are in a separate wing. Each has been stylishly decorated with fresh flowers; patchwork quilts, lovely fabrics and antique furniture whilst the en suite bathrooms sport roll top and slipper baths, fluffy bathrobes and hand made soap.

Our 17 century barn has been carefully renovated, from the intimate slate flagged hall to the stunning dining room beneath the soaring roof timbers of the upper floor. Attention to detail abounds with carefully sourced materials enhancing the warm ancient character of the barns heart. The hand waxed woods, liberty fabrics and tapestry cushions give our home that reassuring atmosphere of a building loved by time. Guests have their own sitting room, alive with jewel like colours - the squashy sofas and hand embroidered silk wall hangings offer a cosy retreat in Winter, or with the doors flung open to listen to the sound of the fountain in the courtyard in Summer

Tariff The Pink Room (in the farmhouse) Full of the barns original atmosphere, the exposed stone walls softened by a silk hand-embroidered wall hanging and romantically complemented by our hand carved mahogany four poster bed. Simple barn windows look out across the courtyard with its sunken parterre formal garden towards st Michaels Mount. The large en suite bathroom features a central bath to soak by flickering candle light and makes a wonderful place to realx at the end of the day. The room rate is based on two people sharing, for single occupancy please deduct £10 £72.50 per night…September to June incl £75.00 per night…July and August The Apricot Room (off the courtyard) A charming cottage style room with a pretty wrought iron sleigh bed, below a gleaming Chandelier. French doors open to sheltered, coutyyard filled with palms with a table and chairs for that special glass of wine. The courtyard has a view down across the fields to the village - with the sea beyond, whilst the bedroom overlooks the main courtyard parterre and fountain. The en suite bathroom has a slipper bath to make this an elegant country bedroom. The room rate is based on two people sharing, for single occupancy please deduct £10 £70.00 per night…September to June incl. £72.50 per night…July and August The Blue Room (off the courtyard) An elegant double room with a pretty French Walnut bed, under a canopied ceiling, lit by a sparkling Chandelier. French doors open to a private terrace with stunning views over Perranuthnoe, St Michael's Mount and Mounts Bay. The en suite bathroom has a double shower and a gorgeous roll top bath. A delightful bed room to watch the sunset. We welcome you to each room with fresh flowers and Cornish spring water - a trolley holds a pretty tea set and a selection of teas, coffees and biscuits, wine glasses and a corkscrew. Colour television, clock radio, CD player and a hairdryer for the bedroom and fluffy bathrobes, bubble bath, moisturizer, shampoo and locally, hand made soap for the bathroom …sorry but… NO smokers, no children and you've guessed - no pets!

Where are we? At the entrance to West Cornwall, above Mounts Bay within sight of St Micheals Mount. The laid back town of Penzance is ten minutes drive (one hours walk to Marazion/St Michaels Mount via the coastal footpath - Penzance a further hour along the beach) busy, busy St Ives takes twenty minutes by car for fabulous fish restaurants and galleries. The historic harbour of Porth levan is fifteen minutes by car or a casual days walking along the coastal footpath…arrive in time for tea in fact!

How do I get there? From the A30, after the Crowlas roundabout, take the Penzance - Helston A394. After a quarter of a mile there is a large green sign-Perran cross roads - turn right by Dynasty Restaurant towards Perranuthnoe. Drive slowly,…look for a white sign on a bend by a small post box…turn left. Pass four houses, fork right from the drive (open the gate) into the car park beside the stables. Take the cobbled path into the courtyard to start your holiday! Where to eat Our personal favourites in Penzance - The Summer house, Harris's, The bay, (All Which Good Food Guide) The Abbey (Michelin Star) The Bakehouse, Cocoa's (Tapas Bar) and The Turks Head.St Ives… well stroll around the warren of cobbled streets and just choose but we've enjoyed Alba's (AA Sea Food Restaurant of the year) The Porthminster Beach café and The Seafood Café - click on the food in Cornwall link on our own web site…reservations are usually essential. Local pubs in every village! (three within two minutes drive)
