This "olde worlde" guest house, named after "Dr Syns" the mythical character created by actor & author Russel Thorndike, is located in Dymchurch town next to the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Steam Railway, within 200 yards of the golden sandy beaches and only 15 minutes from the Eurotunnel. The house is one of the oldest buildings in Dymchurch dating back to the 1700's and has a wealth of Beamed Ceilings and open fireplaces, with spacious en-suite bedrooms that have a special charm and character.
Plenty of off road safe parking is available in the guest house grounds. |

Help yourself to the buffet of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts and juices, then we will serve you a cooked breakfast of your choice Full English, made with local hand made sausages, free range fried, scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon, tomatoes & toast, or, a veggie English breakfast. Evening Meals
Evening Meals are served for residents between 7.00pm & 9.00pm; please see our menu of delicious roasts and grills for prices. Prior bookings are essential. Alcohol is served in our cosy cocktail bar. |
Things to do
Our coast line, Hythe, Dymchurch, St Mary's Bay, Greatstone and Dungeness is great for fishing in both summer and winter, for Mackerel, Cod, Plaice and Sea Bass. We can arrange to get fresh bate and let you know where the best fish are being caught on the day.
With its shallow waters and golden sands, it is ideal for a large range of outdoor activities. Look around the bay and you can see Dungeness in the background. |
