Danehurst House is the large Victorian home of Angela and Michael Godbold, situated 1.5 miles west of historic spa town Royal Tunbridge Wells, where a welcoming atmosphere is combined with individual attention and good home cooking.The drawing room and pretty conservatory/breakfast room offer the best of hospitality, and food is a special consideration. Accommodation is provided in six attractively furnished rooms.Danehurst House is licensed and offers an extensive selection of wines, spirits and beers. For that special occasion, fruit, flowers and champagne can be provided on request.We would be delighted to welcome you to our home. Rooms
The rooms at Danehurst House all have extremely high quality, handmade mattresses, ensuring a good night's sleep. In the evenings, beds are turned down and in the mornings, newspapers are available on request. All rooms have cafetiere coffee, plus wine and water available for purchase.


Facilities
Danehurst House offers many facilities to make your stay enjoyable. There is a comfortable guest sitting room to relax in after a day out, offering games, maps, books, a baby grand piano and television. The conservatory breakfast room overlooks the garden. In the summer the sunny front terrace is ideal for reading or relaxing.Good home cooking is a specialty of Danehurst House. A gourmet breakfast is served daily, using local produce where possible. A full English breakfast is available or alternatively fish, cold meats, cheese or continental breakfast can be ordered. The extensive menu includes freshly squeezed juices, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, hot croissants or brioche, lambs kidneys, black pudding, fried bread and of course a selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate.

Royal Tunbridge Wells lies at the heart of one of the most scenic stretches of countryside in England surrounded by the unspoilt beauty of the Weald. Dating back to the seventeenth century, it was a fashionable spa town in Georgian times. Today visitors can still sample the spring water at the spring on The Pantiles, the town's charming colonnaded shopping street.Danehurst House is located in a village setting, close to the centre of Tunbridge Wells. The high street is located just ten minutes away and offers a wide selection of restaurants, shopping and bars.
