| Dairy Cottage is situated in the grounds of Browns farm which is a working Beef/Arable Farm, where we grow 300 acres of cereals. Situated on the edge of Savernake Forest overlooking open-farmland, Dairy Cottage offers peace and tranquility for a true North Wiltshire holiday. Wild deer, muntjac and an abundance of bird species are all seen visiting the garden frequently. Direct access onto footpaths and bridle paths makes Dairy Cottage an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and horse riders who are able to bring their own horses. Dairy Cottage is a modern, non-smoking spacious bungalow sleeping 6-8 guests with its own private drive. Oil central heating and electric is all included in the price, together with bed linen. |


| Kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric cooker and the usual kitchen appliances. Living room had an open fire with superb views to the garden and open farmland, equipped with TV and video recorder. Local and tourist information together maps or your use. Bedrooms consist of 2 double rooms and a twin room which are all made up with continental quilts and spare blankets if needed. A large bathroom and toilet together with a separate toilet and shower room are available. Utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier which also would be ideal for pets if you wish to bring them on holiday. |


| Dairy Cottage has been completely re-decorated in Jan 05 and has fitted carpets throughout apart from the utility room. Cot and high chair are available together with ample off road parking. Garden furniture and barbeque available. Leisure Facilities - Golf, fishing and horse riding, sports centre, theatres and museums all locally situated. Enjoy - Windsor, Bath, Bristol, Salisbury, Oxford, Winchester, The Kennet and Avon Canal, The Cotswolds, Mendips and The New Forest. Stately Homes - Bowood, Longleat house and Safari Park, Stourhead, Wilton House and Blenheim Palace. Historic Towns - Marlborough, Devizes, Bradford on Avon, Malmesbury and Hungerford. Explore - Anicent Avebury, Silbury Hill, Stonehenge, the Ridgeway and the rugged Wansdyke. Come and see for yourselves the mystery of the crop circles. Children's attractions - Bristol Zoo, Longleat Safari Park, Legoland and many more local farm parks. All the above attractions are within a 1 hour drive of Dairy Cottage. Good selection of pubs and restaurants within walking distance to Marlborough (2 miles) and surrounding area. How to Find Us - From Marlborough you need to travel on the A346 South towards Salisbury. Browns Farm is at the top of the hill on the right and there is a green B&B sign on the right side of the road. Dairy Cottage is about a further 50 yards on this road but you need to check in and out at Browns Farm. |
