The Square and the Spinney comprise two 200 year old cottages together with a beautifully restored Mid-Georgian house in a quiet mews setting close to local amenities, and within two miles of junctions 27 and 28 of the M1 motorway.Recently added is Janice Hill House, two brand new and beautifully furnished apartments. This type of accommodation provides the discerning visitor with something entirely different to anonymous hotel rooms and is designed to create a more homely environment. The Square, The Spinney and Janice Hill House are therefore something entirely different, offering a private and unique alternative to a hotel.

No 56 THE SPINNEY £50.00 per night    sleeps 3 This beautiful house has been completely renovated from top to bottom and comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen and a very pleasant sunny lounge with an open fireplace with satellite television, video recorder and direct dial telephones and broadband connection Impeccably designed, decorated and furnished, this house offers the possibility of two visitors from the same company to share the accommodation. A vestibule to the back door opens onto a private walled garden which may be used by guests staying at the Spinney. In the summer, garden furniture will be set out to let visitors enjoy a drink in the evening sunshine. This house has its own laundry room.

How to find us Take A608 signposted to Heanor at Junction 27 of M1 Motorway. Take first right signposted Selston (B600) at Sandhills Pub. Continue on B600 into Selston past Total Station on right and left. Look for David Wilson homes on the left. Driveway to The Square is on the left between No.66 Nottingham Road and the Crown Inn. No.66 has two carraige lamps by the front door. Cottages are rendered white with red pantiled roofs (a small wood divides the cottages from the Crown Inn)Ample parking area in front of cottages on the left.
