Corner Beech House is a welcoming, spacious, Edwardian house overlooking Morecambe Bay. We provide 4-star ensuite Bed and Breakfast accommodation in picturesque Grange-over-Sands in the English Lake District, and we are open all year round including Christmas and New Year.
The quaint little town of Grange-over-Sands nestles between the sea and the mountains and is known for its mild climate and its genteel atmosphere. The specialist independent shops, long sweeping promenade and ornamental gardens are a short stroll from Corner Beech House.
Some of the many good walks nearby include the Cumbrian Coastal Way, Hampsfell and Humphrey Head. This is an ideal base for exploring the immediate area, and just a short drive from many Lake District attractions.
At the end of your day return to Corner Beech House and curl up on the sofa in your room to read a book or plan your next day's activities; or watch your widescreen digital television or borrow one of the many DVDs available for our guests.

Breakfast is served in our large and bright breakfast room, which has wonderful views of the Bay.

Accommodation
Corner Beech House is a delightful, welcoming Lake District Bed and Breakfast with well-appointed guest accommodation. It has won a Breakfasts Award by the AA, and achieved four stars for the high quality accommodation.
All the B and B rooms are comfortable and spacious. As with the rest of the building and grounds, the B&B accommodation is entirely non-smoking, for the comfort of our guests.
The rooms have been upgraded to a high standard this year to help you feel truly at home, and the building retains its traditional, impressive Edwardian characteristics.

Each tastefully furnished B & B guest room is ensuite and provides:
- Widescreen television with 49 TV channels plus 28 radio stations
- Hairdryer
- Radio alarm clock
- Complimentary shortbread and tea and coffee making facilities

- Access to magazines, books and DVD library
- A cosy sitting area with sofa in your room to read, relax, or plan your following day.

Two of our Bed & Breakfast rooms are twin rooms, each with two single beds. These have a flexible layout to enable them to become a luxurious superking size bed if preferred.
The remaining guest rooms all provide a double bed.
We have no family rooms, and do not take children under 12 years old.
Our 2008 rate per night is:
£35 per person based on two people sharing (£70.00 for a double or twin room).
£49 per person for a single room.
£5 per dog - we allow dogs in two rooms by prior arrangement.
Our rate is the same all year - we do not increase it at Bank Holidays, Christmas or New Year.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 9.30am for our Bed and Breakfast guests, in the bright and spacious breakfast room, with views over Morecambe Bay, and we have been given a Breakfast Award by the AA.
There is no additional charge for breakfast.
We offer a tasty choice for breakfast:
- Tea (including herbal and fruit teas) and ground coffee.
- Cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit.
- Full cooked Cumbrian breakfast, vegetarian breakfast, or lighter options.
- Toast, honey, home-made preserves and marmalade.
We take advantage of the delicious produce available locally.
Our hearty Full Cumbrian Breakfast includes free-range egg, mushrooms and tomatoes with locally produced Cumberland sausage and bacon from our award-winning butcher in Grange-over-Sands. You can choose lighter options or a cooked vegetarian breakfast from our breakfast menu.
