At the heart of this beautiful region lies Pitlochry, a popular retreat since Victorian times due to its central location, and famous for is Festival Theatre and Salmon Ladder.
Standing on the outskirts of Pitlochry, in two acres of attractive gardens and enjoying uninterrupted views of the Cluniemore Hills, in the Claymore hotel. Originally built as a residence for the local Doctor in 1878, the house, and its adjacent coach house, has been sympathetically modernised and refurbished to become an elegant and well appointed hotel whilst still retaining its former character and charm.
The atmosphere is one of comfort and relaxation, and the aim of the resident owners is to make their guests feel welcome and at home, whilst at the same time offering high standards of the quality and personal attention.

We have 7 tastefully decorated bedrooms, including two four poster rooms and a ground floor room all of which are en-suite with bath and/or shower, heated towel rails, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, telephone, flat screen television and DVD player.

With television and DVD player and choice DVD's to watch or choose a book from our selection.
Bar
The bar is open for residents from 12pm until 11pm. We stock a fine selection of wine, beers and spirits etc.
The Conservatory
Meals served from 5pm to 9pm.
