This tastefully built and furnished property offers first-class accommodation in a quiet position overlooking the picturesque Peak District village of Ashford-in-the-Water.

Ashford is a small, unspoilt and friendly village in the centre of the limestone Peak, adjacent to the River Wye.

Two olde-worlde public houses, a superb and widely renowned restaurant, grocery and delicatessen shops and the village post office all combine to supply the majority of the needs of villagers and visitors.

Ashford is an ideal base for touring the area- the stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are within easy reach- around five miles away. The market town of Bakewell (market day Monday) lies two miles down the river, and for those visitors who enjoy rambling and hill-walking, the area is surrounded by quiet dales, lovely moors and of course, the famous Kinder Scout is ten miles away at Edale, Castleton, famous for its unique Blue John stone, is eight miles to the north.

The accommodation is made up of two double rooms and one twin, all having ensuite facilities, colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. The property is centrally heated and there is ample private parking.
