16 May 2010 CHARMING BUILDING PLEASANT STAFF WONDERFUL STAY We booked up to see a show in London and needed somewhere to stay. I stay in hotels all the time working away. But this was charming, comfortable and luxurious the staff friendly and helpful with maps and directions to the theatre and train stations wished we could have stayed longer.
15 April 2010 OUTSTANDING - OUR HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION When coming to London, my mum and I have stayed at Chase Lodge for nearly 15 years now. From the very first time that we stayed, we have always found the staff to be warm and friendly, polite and respectful, and extremely helpful and professional making our time there memorable for all the right reasons. We have consistently found that all levels of service provided are of the highest calibre. It is also refreshing these days to still find the more traditionally-styled accommodation with a wealth of character and more intimate atmosphere, unlike the tower-block hotels which seem lifeless in comparison. Our stays at Chase Lodge have been warming and rewarding, not simply functional, as a result. If you are looking for accommodation in the area, I would strongly recommend that you give it a try - top marks from me and mum!
10 March 2010 CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK Shakespeare holiday/birthday present took me to this Victorian boutique hotel. Minutes from the train to Waterloo (1/2 hr. ride) and minutes on foot from the Rose Theatre, this gem is clean, with very comfortable beds, new bathroom and spacious (dbl room). The 4-day stay was smooth and Robert and Denise, kind, warm and personable, making this surprise holiday a permanent and glorious memory. Walk and walk and walk.. over the bridge to Kingston or to Hampton Court, or bus it conveniently to Richmond or Heathrow, I recommend this gem without reservation. I will stay here for London engagements and to further explore Surrey.
1 Mar 2010 GREAT LITTLE HOTEL IN A QUIET AREA Enjoyed a two night stay with friends for the Ireland- England rugby game. It is what it says it is a quirky Victorian building and that is its charm. We found the rooms clean, warm and all the little things you expect there. Breakfast was good and the staff efficient, courteous and extremely helpful. Great location with good pubs and restaurant close at hand and just across the river in Kingston all walkable. Will go back again. |
