 A welcoming landmark to the traveller, the Charlton Kings Hotel is a building of simple elegance, set in an acre of garden with sweeping lawns, feature trees, and surrounded by the Cotswold Hills. Charlton Kings village itself is a select 'suburb' on the edge of Cheltenham Spa. A few minutes by car and you're in the heart of Cheltenham - a spa town since Regency times, now famous for its architecture, festival and racing. It also has plenty to offer in the way of theatres, restaurants, historic buildings and a distinguished selection of shops.  If you prefer peace and solitude, leave the car in the Hotel car park and follow the footpaths into the beautiful Cotswold countryside. The more energetic might like to tackle the famous 'Cotswold Way' a 100 mile escarpment walk running from Bath to Chipping Camden. The midway point of which is just half a mile away. |

From the M5 Exit junction 11, follow the A40 signs into Cheltenham and then A40 towards Oxford. We are on the outskirts of Cheltenham on your right. ** Only 3 miles from the racecourse ** Cheltenham and the Cotswolds have a lot to offer in the way of entertainment, sightseeing and events.
