Originally built as a private home in the19th century, our building was taken over by a bank (ask to see the remaining money vault!) before becoming the Castleton Hotel, your home from home in London.
We are located in London's Paddington / Lancaster Gate so that after a good night's sleep and a cooked English breakfast you will be ready to walk in nearby Hyde Park or go shopping, visiting and eating in Notting Hill , Portobello Road or the West End situated within easy reach.

A C C O M M O D A T I O N
You will be greeted warmly in our reception room which used to be the entrance hall of the original private residence.
We serve an excellent cooked English breakfast in our dining room, which is decorated in subdued colours so as to help you wake up gently.
All 37 rooms have en suite bathrooms, central heating, air conditioning, flat screen televisions, internet, tea making facilities and telephones.
Our rooms can accomodate a single person from £60 per night and up to four people from £120 per night, inclusive of cooked breakfast and all taxes.

L O C A T I O N
The Castleton Hotel is 3 minutes' walk from Paddington Station (15 minutes from Heathrow Airport by Heathrow Express), Lancaster Gate Tube Station and Hyde Park.
We are perfectly situated for a quick stroll through Hyde Park to the large museums (Victoria and Albert, National History...) with Harrods a little further but even nearer is Notting Hill with exotic Queensway and Portobello Market, and Edgware Road is to the East.
A longer walk away or a few stops on the tube brings you to the extraordinary shopping in Oxford Street and Regent Street and the beautiful, lively, cosmopolitan streets of Soho and Covent Garden with their restaurants, shops, theatres and other entertainments... You are also quite near to Buckingham Palace should you wish to have tea with the queen!
