Buttermilk Bed & Breakfast
Four Gables Longlands, Ladywood Road, Martin Hussingtree, Worcester, Worcestershire, WR3 7SX Telephone: 01905 451588
Welcome to our home - Buttermilk Bed and Breakfast - set in the beautiful village of Ladywood in rural Worcestershire, with extensive views over the Salwarpe and Severn valleys. We are pleased to offer full disabled access and facilities when required.
Buttermilk provides the ideal base for visiting many historic sites and cultural events in the West Midlands and Marches. We are close to the Faithful City of Worcester and within easy reach of Gloucester and Hereford (for the Three Choirs Festival), and Cheltenham (for the races!). Buttermilk is in the heart of the countryside that so inspired the music of Elgar and Vaughan Williams, the plays of Shakespeare, the Shire in J R R Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and the poetry of A E Houseman.
Superb scenery is to be had, particularly bordering the Welsh Marches, seen from the nearby Malvern Hills, which gave Edward Elgar and William Langland such inspiration. The Cotswold Hills and Stratford-upon-Avon are within an hour's drive, as are many sites of Roman and Saxon significance. The M5 motorway gives easy access to the south for Bath (Roman Aquae Sulis), Gloucester (Glevum) and Cirencester (Corinium), and north to Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
