| Renovated during the summer of 2004 Bury Farm Cottages were formerly bake houses and stables and have been converted to a very high standard combining authentic features from a bygone age with the convenience of modern amenities. Set amidst our 300 acre farm, this quiet rural location enables you to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Working closely with local craftsmen, we have retained and enhanced many of the buildings original fixtures and fittings. Each cottage has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, oak flooring and doors and two have the original fireplaces as their focal points. They are also very well equipped with TV and video, mini hi fi systems, dishwasher, fridge freezer microwave, oven and hob in each kitchen. They all have patio doors which open out onto your own private terrace which overlooks meadowland. |
| Bakers Cottage - Sleeps 2 The lounge has a large inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove as its focal point. The cottage is furnished throughout with a mixture of old and new pine and a Victorian flour store has been restored and is incorporated into the ceiling of the bedroom. |  |

| Bread Cottage - Sleeps 4 + 2 The Lounge has a log burning stove incorporated into the chimney of an old bread oven and there is also a large sofa which opens out into a double king size four poster bed and en-suite shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and there is a very roomy bathroom. |  |

| Pudding Cottage - Sleeps 4 This cottage has been designed for use by our wheelchair bound as well as our able bodied guests. The bathroom has a shower with wheelchair access and we can provide a special shower chair on request. |  |

| Further Information We like to make sure that your stay is as hassle free as possible, so each kitchen is equipped with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, rubbish bags, kitchen towels and cleaning products. We provide a full English breakfast pack which includes bacon, sausages and eggs (all locally sourced), tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of mile which is supplied by the local milkman and can be delivered throughout your stay if you so wish. We provide quality mattresses, duvets, linen and towels and for each week of your stay you will receive clean sheets, duvet covers, towels and tea towels. BBQs and garden furniture including umbrellas are provided with each cottage. Each cottage has its own iron and ironing board and all have access to the laundry room, which contains washing machine and tumble dryer. We provide all washing powder etc and just ask that you put £3.00 in the pot next to the machines after each use. There is also a games room which houses a three quarter sized snooker table and boules court available for guests use. One basket of firewood and logs are provided free for Baker's and Bread Cottages. Highchair, cot and some children's videos are available on request. All of the cottages are no smoking. Well behaved pets are always welcome. However we do make a £10.00 charge per week per animal that stays. |
