| From the inviting spacious hall, the first floor accommodation provides three luxurious en suite bedrooms with full facilities. The bathrooms are equipped with bathrobes and toiletries. | |
| Your day begins with a choice of excellent continental breakfast or a traditional Yorkshire breakfast which includes local produce i.e. smoked bacon, free range eggs and home made preserves with wonderful bread. Our beautiful kitchen prepared and presents mouth watering food cooked in the four ovened Aga. |
 | The dining Room has a magnificent presence with French windows opening onto the terrace, which in turn leads through to the drawing room where on a warm summer's evening drinks may be enjoyed outside on the terrace overlooking the gardens. At the table guests sit all together and share varied and interesting conversations in a friendly atmosphere, making dining here a unique experience to none. |
Spacious and elegant with French windows also leading onto the terrace give another wonderful view overlooking the gardens. On a winter's evening with a roaring log fire, the Drawing Room creates a perfect ambience in which to relax with your after dinner drinks.
There is in addition, a large and comfortable sitting room with television, again with a log fire in winter. | |
| In the gentle undulating Yorkshire Wolds, country lovers are sure to enjoy the scenic walks down the lanes and byways of this fascinating part of Yorkshire connecting you to many delightful villages and ancient hostelry. |
 | Close at hand is the historic town of Beverly, described as one of the most gracious market towns in the country. Granted its Royal Charter by Queen Elizabeth I, Beverley is dominated by its two famous churches, the Minster and St. Mary's. The town is full of olde world streets where antique shops, booksellers and boutiques abound. Beverley Minster's larger cousin in York and the impressive Humber Bridge is reachable in 15 minutes. |
| The ancient city of York is just 40 minutes away, famous for its magnificent Minster and quaint Shambles. The museums, a walk along the ancient city walls and a river cruise are a must for the tourist. Outside the city are three famous stately homes as well as fine country houses to visit. | |
| Nearby is the city of Kingston-upon-Hull famous for its fishing port and North Sea Ferries, the gateway to Europe's Dutch ports. William Wilberforce House and Trinity House, the oldest Naval Training School in the world, are well worth a visit. A new added attraction to Hull is 'The Deep', as seen on television, fabulous for viewing the underworld aquarium, which opened in March 2002. |
For visitors seeking the heritage coastline, Filey Scarborough, Whitby, the Moors and Dales are just 40 minutes away. The Yorkshire coast combines clean beaches, breathtaking views, scenery and towering cliffs, which are home to hundreds of seabirds.
Sporting events and facilities are equally well catered for with a golf-course adjoining us and several more close at hand, the same for horse-riding, fishing and water sports. Horse-racing is at Beverley and York, both these courses have wonderful day and evening meetings. Thirsk, Wetherby, Doncaster and Market Rasen are also near at hand. |
