Braeside House is homely and comfortable with two double bedrooms and one twin bedded room, all of which have en suite facilities. The house was built in 1999 and just last year the conservatory dining room and lounge were added. The new space offers the most fantastic views across Loch Linnhe and to the Ardgour hills.

Braeside is centrally located, situated near all local amenities and only a 5 minute walk from the main high street and shopping centre. You'll enjoy great Scottish breakfasts using the best of local ingredients and if you have any special dietary requirements you just have to let us know and we'll do everything we can to cater for you. The extensive breakfast menu includes venison sausages, trout fillets, scrambled eggs and oatcakes.

Make the most of your time...

The area offers substantial outdoor pursuits such as horse riding, golf, fishing, mountaineering, watersports, canoeing, hillwalking, mountain biking and ski-ing in the winter months at Nevis Range Ski Centre or nearby Glencoe.

As well as outdoor pursuits, if you want to take things a bit easier, Fort William has a fine choice of visitor attractions for you to enjoy. You can visit the Dew of Ben Nevis and Distillery and Ben Range gondola, see wonderful gemstones and crystals at treasures of the earth exhibition or take a Crannog cruise to Seal Island. The Jacobite Steam train also runs from Fort William along the road to the Isles during the summer months.

How to find us

From the south
The A82 from Glasgow or the central belt will take you to Fort William in no more than 3 hours. As you enter Fort William you will come to a roundabout, take the 3rd turning on the right and follow the road up the hill. Take the second turning on the left hand side (at the red telephone box) and travel along the road until you see the braeside sign.

From the North
The A82 and A83 will take you to Fort William from Inverness or Aviemore in around 2 hours. As you enter the Fort William area follow the signs for Glasgow, you will come to a roundabout, take the 3rd exit and follow the road until you come to the second roundabout. Take the first left and at the final roundabout take 2nd turning on the left hand side (at the red telephone box) and travel along the road until you see the Braeside sign.
