Braeside is a delightful nine bedroomed hotel which in 2005 was given a four diamond rating by both the English Tourism Council and the AA, so although fairly small you can expect quality and service. Our position is unrivalled. We have lovely views out over Weston Bay from the front, which faces west, and on a clear day you can see as far as the Welshcoast and the Quantock hills. At the rear we overlook the Parish Church, and have views towards the Mendip Hills. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac, with unrestricted on-street parking, we are only a two minute walk from the sea front ... with sandy beach … and only a short way from the Playhouse Theatre, High Street and Shopping Centre. So, close to everything yet sufficiently far back from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a peaceful and relaxed holiday.

Our sunny patio garden is a riot of colour during the summer…where you can sit and bask in the sun…have a chat over a cup of tea. Or, if you prefer, take a stroll around nearby Grove Park…a garden lover's paradise. For the more adventurous there are walks through Weston Woods… which are situated just behind us, above the park…and on to Kewstoke, Sand Point and the Priory.Sand Point is a National Trust property and this can also be reached by car along the toll road…a short drive by the water's edge through Weston Woods. And, of course, do not forget Weston's "two miles of golden sands". We also provide Ordnance Survey maps for exploring the surrounding countryside. How to find us Go through the town until you reach the sea front and drive along the sea front with the sea on your left. You will pass the Grand Pier (on your left) and the Winter Gardens (on your right). After the Winter Gardens, take the next turning to the right (at The Cabot 5 Bars Pub... also on this corner is The Old Thatched Cottage Restaurant). Take the next turning LEFT at the Cresta Restaurant (into LOWER CHURCH ROAD)... on this corner is the COLLEGE. Go straight up Lower Church Road, past the Parish Church; round a sharp left hand bend…. VICTORIA PARK is the Street on your right having gone round the left hand bend. We are opposite the QUEENSWOOD HOTEL. Park anywhere in the cul de sac. To finish your day, try one of Weston's excellent restaurants, which are all within easy walking distance.
