Borrowby Mill is an eighteenth century converted flour mill situated in a secluded setting with a large garden and a pretty courtyard at the front. Our rooms are comfortably furnished having colour television, tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have their own private bathrooms. We have a large cosy drawing room which houses our extensive library for your use.

Breakfast
Food is of prime importance at The Mill and after a restful nights sleep you will be served a hearty breakfast. You could start with porridge served with cream and brown sugar, or choose from a selection of cereals, our own bottled fruit and fresh yoghurt followed by locally produced bacon, sausages and free range eggs. Real bread toast is served with our own marmalade, jams or local honey and freshly ground coffee is always available.

Seasons & Activities
In the spring enjoy the daffodils and wild flowers, in the summer watch the swallows and swifts on the dales and moors, and in the autumn the changing colours of the trees and moorland heather, catching glimpses of grouse and pheasants. For the walker the Cleveland Way offers much taking in the eastern boundary of the Hambleton Hills, Sutton Bank, Roseberry Topping. Cycling, Golfing, Horse Riding and Fishing are all within easy reach of Borrowby.
Hambleton District hosts many historic attractions, James Herriot Museum, Kiplin Hall, Sion Hill Hall and Benningbrough Hall which is a National Trust Property of great renown set in beautiful gardens and parkland. The new heritage adventure trail, part of the Cleveland Way, links twenty five miles of breathtaking scenery and four unique English Heritage attractions, Mount Grace Priory, Byland Abbey, Helmsley Castle and Rievaulx Abbey. |

Deposits and Cancellations
A deposit of one night's accommodation is requested.
Payment is accepted by cash, cheque, travelers cheques, visa/mastercard.
 No refund of deposit will be made in the event of a cancellation.
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Finding Borrowby
The village of Borrowby is situated five miles from Thirsk just off the A19 Trunk Road, also five miles from Northallerton taking the A168 to Thirsk and taking a left turn marked to Borrowby which is just past the Catholic Church on the left. |

Finding Us
The Mill Bed and Breakfast is just outside the Village, from the A19 follow the signs for Borrowby and the Mill is situated along a private drive just opposite the Borrowby stone village sign. From the country road coming from Northallerton come through the village, turn right at the Pub and carry on down the hill, you will come to a junction from where you will see our sign.
