Ben Nevis Guest House(formally Glenfer Guest House) is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with breathtaking scenery, our guest house is just 300 metres from the end of the West Highland Way, one mile from the foot of Ben Nevis and yet only a 10 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and to Bus and Rail Stations.
Our Guest House is very friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. It has been awarded a 3 Star STB rating and offers high levels of quality and comfort with emphasis on customer delight, all at affordable prices.
The owners and your hosts, Janet and Graeme Robertson are a Scottish family who have lived in Lochaber for over 15 years and have that essential local knowledge to be able to answer any questions you may have. As owners who have worked in the hospitality sector all their lives, you can be assured of Scottish hospitality at its very best. |
Facilities
Ben Nevis Guest House has a total of four bedrooms: Two double and two family rooms that sleep four. All rooms are clean and comfortable and have en-suite facilities, colour TV, tea & coffee hospitality tray, hairdryer, radio alarm clock and controllable central heating.
On arrival our reception hall with its impressive and unusual galleried landing and vaulted ceiling creates a welcoming atmosphere and ambiance. This leads onto the lounge which is a pleasant place for quiet relaxation. A good selection of local books and games are available for you to use during your stay. We can also offer our guests wireless broadband internet access.
Guests have their own separate tables in our spacious dining room. We offer a full Scottish cooked breakfast with vegetarian options.
Our eggs are organic and come from our own free to roam chickens.
Packed lunches and early breakfast are catered for by prior arrangement.
There is a Laundry/Drying Room available with wash/dry/iron facilities. The rear entrance leads directly into our Drying room which is convenient for Walkers to leave any wet outdoor clothing and boots! |
Tariff
Bed & Breakfast rates are from £25 per person in low season, rising to £30 in the main season (Easter, May, July, August, and New Year). Rates for children, pets and single occupancy vary throughout the year; please contact us for exact prices.
The Guest House is open all year round with the exception of Christmas. Special Offers are available October - March and reduced rates for 2 night stays or more throughout the year.
Booking Procedure
If you would like to book accommodation we will require your credit or debit card details with your full postal address and telephone number. Alternatively, you may send a cheque for half the nights stay if one night, or the first nights stay if staying for more than one night.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation for whatever reason, the following terms will apply:
If the room is re-let, full refund given less an administration charge of £10.
If the room is not re-let, the deposit is forfeit, or where a credit card number has been taken, a charge of £20 per person will be charged to the card.
Terms & Conditions
Ben Nevis Guest House is strictly non-smoking.
Well behaved pets are welcome at an additional charge of £10 per pet and MUST be pre-booked.
Guests are welcome to arrive after 4pm. Should you wish to arrive earlier or later than 8pm, please call.
On the day of departure, guests are kindly asked to vacate their rooms by 10am.
Ample car parking available.
Guests may leave their car while walking the 'Way'.
Bikers are welcome and off-road safe parking available.
Cyclists may leave their bikes safe and dry in the garage.
