The Beaumaris Hotel
Since 1947 the same family have earned a reputation for traditional hospitality and personal service offered to our guests, many of whom return time and again. Today, the resident directors, Hilary and Alan Stevens, continue this family association into the third generation.
Open from early-March until mid-December the Hotel offers every comfort and is ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within five minutes walk of the Blue Flag beach, town centre and golf course.

The Bedrooms
The 21 en suite bedrooms are comfortably appointed and offer television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. A number of single, family and ground floor rooms are available. |
The Restaurant
In the spacious, tastefully appointed Restaurant eating is always a pleasure – light and airy during the summer and opening on to the garden where meals may be taken when the weather permits and warm and intimate by candlelight during the cooler months. |
The Lounge
This lounge, together with the bar and restaurant, overlooks and opens on to the sheltered garden where the sun and sea air can be enjoyed. |
The Bar
The relaxing atmosphere of the fully licensed bar provides an ideal setting to enjoy a drink. We serve traditional beer and a fine selection of wines from Adnams of SouthwoldAt lunchtime freshly prepared Bar Snacks are enjoyed by our guests and local customers alike. |
Sheringham
Sheringham’s golden sand beaches are washed twice daily by the tide which, when out, provide a perfect playground during the summer. The hotel is a short walk from the North Norfolk Coastal Footpath, a starting point for walks along cliff-tops and wonderful open beaches. Much of the North Norfolk Coast is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and falls within the Heritage Coast.
An excellent range of sporting and recreational facilities are easily accessible including Sheringham’s own indoor Swimming/Leisure Centre. Sheringham has one of the finest 18 hole Golf Courses in Norfolk.
Sheringham has a thriving town centre with an excellent choice of individual shops, the town is also the home of the North Norfolk Railway, museums, and a collection of historic lifeboats.
Nearby are historic coastal towns and villages. Within easy reach are colourful market towns, the beautiful Norfolk Broads, Royal Sandringham, Holkham Hall and Norwich with it’s Norman Cathedral and Castle and a host of interesting and original tourist attractions. |
