The Beacon Inn

The 19th century Beacon Inn is at the heart of the village of Haresfield, situated on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment. The Beacon is a traditional village Inn with character, high quality facilities and above all, you can be assured of a warm welcome and individual service. Within easy reach of the motorways, yet surrounded by the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, the Beacon Inn is an ideal base for all - from a one night, en-route stop over to a longer break giving you the opportunity to explore the beautiful county of Gloucestershire. For walkers, horse riders, cyclists, we are only a few minutes from the historic Cotswold Way. A golf course, riding stables, canal and lake fishing are all local to us. So whatever your interests we would be pleased to help you make the most of your stay.

Our five en-suite guest bedrooms are all tastefully furnished with tea and coffee making facilities and a television. A full English breakfast is served each morning. Furnishings and décor create a warm, relaxed mood, both in the bar and the restaurant. The a'la carte menu provides excellent and varied cuisine and on Sundays we offer a traditional roast lunch.

Whether you want a bar snack, grill, something from our specials board or a three course dinner chosen from our a la carte menu, our experienced head chef uses the freshest local ingredients. The only dilemma would be what to choose! The traditional bar, with its welcoming ambience, is stocked with a good range of beers spirits, wines as well as non alcoholic drinks. Popular and comfortable, the bar is a favourite meeting place. And on those warm summer days and nights you are welcome to relax with your drinks and food on our recently extended patio. The Beacon Room is ideal for hosting parties, family events and small meetings. With its own separate entrance and capacity for 80 guests, it is an extremely versatile room.
