The lovely, spacious, all en-suite apartment rooms, each with its own entrance door direct from the garden, are in a barn conversion and offer warm, relaxed, welcoming and totally private accommodation all year round for walkers, cyclists, bird-watchers and those touring the area. A sofa, arm-chair and bureau in each room, together with photography and original artwork of local scenes, are sure to make your stay a most comfortable and memorable one. Extensive reading material and information on the local area, including both short and all-day walks ensure you will get the most out of your stay, no matter how long or short. Each room has tea and coffee-making facilities. Each en-suite bathroom has a corner bath and shower. The double room offers a king-size double bed. The twin room has 3ft single beds. Both rooms have an extra double sofa-bed if required. There is plenty of safe, off-road parking (some under cover), secure, under cover facilities for cycles and a drying room Extensive beach, woodland and countryside walks are available, many direct from the front door. Sandringham visitor centre is only 40 minutes' walk across heathland and through woodland. The Country Park has hundreds of acres to explore. In May/June rhododendrons make a spectacular display and in autumn the woods are bright with colour. Crisp, frosty winter mornings are a delight. The beach (2 ½ miles) has an R.S.P.B.bird reserve and from October to February is home to tens of thousands of pink-footed geese which fly inland during the day to feed, providing a remarkable spectacle every morning and evening. Dersingham Nature Reserve, managed by English Nature is a Site of Special Scientific Interest within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Barn House is only one mile from the SusTrans cycle route, and the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path are a short drive away.
