The Baltic Inn & Restaurant is set in the historical Gwendraeth Valley on the outskirts of the village of Ponthenri. Steeped in history, The Baltic dates back to the late 16th Century, when cannonballs were manufactured in the old furnace for Elizabeth I's campaigns against the King of Spain.
Recently refurbished by its new owners, the Baltic Inn combines and 'olde worlde' charm with a contemporary twist, providing our guests with stylish surroundings, fine dining and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Set in the heart of the Gwendreath Valley off the B4309 on the outskirts of the village of Ponthenri, conveniently placed for visiting the following attractions:Kidwelly Castle, The Welsh Motor Sports Centre, Pembrey County Park and Beach, The National Botanical Gardens, Llanelli and The Millennium Coastal Path, The County Market Town of Carmarthen. |

The Carvery restaurant has gained an exceptional reputation and is a favourite choice for couples and families, especially for our Sunday Carvery Lunch.
Every Saturday there is a dinner dance and cabaret evening for which we offer special weekend breaks to include dinner, accommodation, full breakfast and Carvery Sunday Lunch. |
