| Welcome to the Atlanta,a friendly private family owned hotel - inspected under the ETC guest accommodation scheme - in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, UK. We are one of the few 4 star accommodation providers offering bed and breakfast and evening meals, having been established for over 12 years. Ideally located close to Peasholm Park on the North Bay, Scarborough Town Centre is only a 15 minute stroll as is Scarborough Railway Station. We pride ourselves on offering our guests that little bit extra such as large spacious bedrooms, assistance with luggage and early morning calls. Our dining room will accommodate all our guests in comfort on separate tables. We have a comfortable lounge with TV, DVD/Video and digital receiver. Our guests can enjoy a full English breakfast using local suppliers where possible, special diets and continental breakfasts catered for on request all freshly prepared. Our beautiful double fronted Victorian terrace offers you, our guests a welcoming and comfortable 4 star guest accommodation on the fabulous East coast, centrally located but only a short walk or drive to the surrounding countryside. |

| Out and About The beautiful town of Scarborough benefits from two quite different bays. The North Bay boasts many attractions including the Castle, Kinderland, Peasholm Park, an indoor swimming pool and easy access to the Cleveland Way. The cricket club, home to the famous Scarborough Cricket festival, the Sea Life Centre and Stephen Joseph Theatre are all within easy walking distance. The South Bay houses the majority of the town amusements, including the Lifeboat Centre, Harbour and Futurist Theatre as well as the impressive Spa Complex. Scarborough has a busy town centre with ample shopping facilities including the Brunswick Centre, several nightclubs and an abundance of pubs and places to eat. The famous Stephen Joseph Theatre hosts regular plays and concerts throughout the season. The surrounding countryside is superb and unspoilt. The Heritage coastline and the glorious North Yorkshire Moors National Park; with its miles of forest and moorland. Here you will find the village of Goathland, famous as the fictional "Heartbeat". The coastal towns of Whitby, Filey and Bridlington are only a short drive away.
