| Accommodation The Ascot has both standard and en-suite rooms to cater to all budgets. The rooms have comfortable beds and a high standard of housekeeping. They also have remote control colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and full central heating. All rooms are non-smoking. With your own front door key they are accessible at all times. Pets welcome by prior arrangement.   Prices Our room rates are £25 - £40 per person per night, based on two persons sharing and £25 to £40 for a single room. These prices vary according to the season and include tax and a hearty full Scottish breakfast. We also have triple and family rooms. |
| Location The Ascot is situated handily on the south side of Edinburgh a few minutes from the city centre which is within walking distance at just over two kilometers or a mile away. It is an approximate 20 minute walk to Princes Street and even less to the Royal Mile and Castle. We are situated on a major bus route where a good selection of buses will take you to most parts of the city. There is a private car park and unrestricted free on-street parking. For evening meals, there are several good restaurants within walking distance.
