Keswick is only 18 miles from the M6, but a world away from the ever increasing pace of the rat race. The town itself, on the northern shores of Derwentwater, has many attractions - museums and galleries, fascinating shops for browsing or buying, and restaurants and cafes offering everything from chips to cordon bleu!
